Indico Solutions was formed in Melbourne, Australia in 2004.

Indico Solutions charter is the development of evidence based medical information systems specifically for workers compensation. Our application "Indico" is an evidence based medical decision support application which provides essential medical information and knowledge based decision support to companies and people who manage workers' compensation claims.

Workers Compensation Industry experience

Indico Solutions have extensive experience in the workers compensation industry. Through a solid understanding of how workers compensation legislation interacts with claimants and their health providers, Indico Solutions are able to provide solutions to assist in the management of workers compensation claims. The current environment is moving quickly. This requires measured solutions to move with the times and yet still remained focussed on the primary objectives of claims management, return to work and claim closure.


Treatment and Rehabilitation Expertise

Indico Solutions has extensive experience in both the treatment of, and occupational rehabilitation of workers compensation claimants. This experience allows us to understand the complexities of managing injuries involving workers compensation. Long term, complex claims are difficult to treat and require significant skills that differ from managing non-compensation injuries. Real outcomes can only be achieved through the delivery of high quality treatment.

Having been responsible for treating and rehabilitating workers compensation claimants Indico Solutions know both the benefits of evidence based medicine in the management of workers compensation claims.


Research skills

True research in workers compensation is not widespread. This is evidenced by the lack of research using subjects who receive workers compensation and the measurement of vocational outcomes. Indico solutions are committed to ensuring the research that is employed by us is of the highest quality. As such we work collaboratively with The University of Melbourne to ensure that our research and software solutions are of the highest standard.


Technology

In addition to our Injury Management expertise Indico Solutions brings together over 20 years of corporate Information Technology and systems development experience. Indico is classed as a Decision Support System* and we have developed and deployed these types of applications for some of the world?s largest companies. We are an accredited partner with Microsoft, our developers are all Microsoft certified and the Indico Solutions application has been tested to conform to Industry standards by Microsoft.
